I'm pretty sure that despite of the many free burner alternatives out there, there are still tons of people that prefer to use Nero burner instead. Nero has been well known due to its clever marketing strategy, so you can't blame on that. The worst part that can happen when you buy a commercial software is losing the serial key. If you lose your Nero serial key, you won't be able to reinstall the software in case you need to do it someday in the future.
